I publish my first post after a rather long time just to recommend the book “Co-Intelligence: Living and Working with AI” by Ethan Mollick, a professor of management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Here are two reviews of the book (from the back cover):
“An invaluable resource, offering a comprehensive guide to current trends and future expectations in AI. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of this rapidly evolving technology.” (Eric Horvitz, Chief Scientific Officer at Microsoft).
The second one is: “Brilliantly captures the essence of our evolving relationship with AI. With lucid explanations and useful examples, Mollick shows how we can enlist this technology’s astonishing power to build a more intelligent and human future.” (Daniel H. Pink, author of The Power of Regret).
I fundamentally recognize myself in both reviews, so I invite you to get the book here or wherever you like. In part two of the book, discussing AI as a co-worker, Mollick talks about Centaurs and Cyborgs. I feel a little bit like both. Not a bad feeling, though.
