(en) At 57 I’ve decided to open my first, and likely only, blog. Why? Just to write and share some thoughts (a sort of open diary, if you will) inspired by the variety of readings and experiences collected as a science and math teacher, freelance geologist and independent researcher. I won’t be able to attend the blog very much or write in a perfect English (which is not my mother tongue), but perhaps some of you out there will find some of the future posts interesting or, at least, worth a second look. For now, thank you for having read this one until the last word.

(it) A 57 anni ho deciso di aprire il mio primo, e probabilmente unico, blog. Perché? Solo per scrivere e condividere alcuni pensieri (una sorta di diario aperto, se vogliamo) ispirati dalla varietà di letture ed esperienze accumulate come insegnante, geologo e ricercatore indipendente. Non potrò dedicare molto tempo al blog, ma forse qualcuno di voi là fuori troverà interessanti alcuni dei futuri post o, almeno, gli darà una seconda occhiata.
